I have received a report that there is support among some delegates
for the idea of simply abolishing the entire USCF Executive Board. The delegates cannot remove an individual board member, but it does have the legal authority to abolish the entire board. There are now three types of board members: 1. Paul Truong and Susan Polgar. Truong has been proven to have forged 2464 Internet newsgroup postings as the "Fake Sam Sloan" while running for and serving on the board. It has become obvious that Polgar is his co-conspirator. 2. Bill Goichberg and Randy Bauer. Both are pushing through an outrageous plan to turn Chess Life and Chess Life for Kids magazines into online publications and to abolish the membership cards. Both are covering up the true financial condition of the USCF. 3. Randy Hough and Jim Berry. Both are doing nothing or at least nothing has been heard from either of them in a long time, if at all. All six of these board members have between more than one to three years left on their terms. At the rate things are going the USCF will not survive that long. Perhaps the delegates should just abolish the entire board and create a new corporate body to run the organization. Sam Sloan |
